With more than 800 corporate, regional and local headquarter Morris County is truly a world-class location. The attractiveness and economic diversity of Morris County’s economy continued to display its strength in 2018 with the announcement of Teva Pharmaceutical’s relocation to Parsippany.
The MCEDC will recognize the largest transactions in the county at the annual Partners in Economic Development luncheon on March 22 which include Teva, Lonza America, Reckitt Benckiser, Alvogen, Strongman Building Products, Sierra Trading Post and non-profit partner Cornerstone Family Programs and Morristown Neighborhood House and municipalities of Boonton (Town of) and Mt. Olive Township.

More than half of the businesses in the county have fewer than ten employees and in 2018 fifty five new businesses formed in the county. As part of the “StartUp, MoveUp Morris” initiative and in an effort to help support entrepreneurs in the county the MCEDC has launched roundtables for small businesses to meet and discuss issues they are facing and find solutions in a supportive environment.
